Poetry Analysis of THE AUTHOR TO HER BOOK When I runner read the title of the poetry, the only thing that came to mind was that we were passing to read a poem astir(predicate) someone talking closely their sprightliness. I thought that it was divergence to describe their life and ab come forth compare it to a book. As I read to a greater extent of the poem I thought that the writer was more of a parent describing her child, but as I further my reading I realized that the author was vilifying him or herself and that she was angry with someone . Upon even further analysis, I came to the final that the poem was an analysis by the author of her book, she explained to the reader how her poems were purportedly taken without her kno wledge by friends to be published overseas. The poem is a huge extended metaphor that is being personified as a child, her own child. The child or offspring in this poem is really the book that was taken without permission.
